Reinstalling Widows is a long and tedious task. Typing the long serial key, making time zone adjustments or setting up an account is only the half of it. When the operating system is freshly installed on your computer, you have to find and install your drivers, codecs and other applications all over again. Thanks to Almeza MultiSet Pro, you can automate the whole process. It lets you create bootable disks or flash drives which will install the OS with already made settings. This way, you can skip typing all the pre-installation settings. It is also possible to do the same thing for your favorite applications. This way, your operating system, along with all the applications, drivers, services and more, can be installed in a single run.

The installation kit is 6.42 Mb large, which will not take long to download, even with a slower Internet connection. The installation process is straightforward and you can use the program under any version of Windows, from 98 to 7.

Software packages may be added in a list on the program's main window by clicking an Add button on the toolbar. A navigation pane on the left side of the window lets you organize them in categories like multimedia, Internet, office, security and more. After clicking the Add button, a new window will appear where you must specify the path of the package's EXE file. Additionally, you can set certain parameters, regarding the Install Shield, Windows Installer Service, InnoSetup, NSIS and Wise Installer, in the same window. When adding packages, the User Account Control must be disabled and the computer must be rebooted. This can be done automatically after clicking the Add button. The program will display a message and you can choose to disable the UAC and restart immediately or do it manually.

Almeza MultiSet can create bootable disks with installation kits for Windows, the added packages or both. The Create Disk button on the toolbar will launch a wizard which will guide you all the way. First, you must select what contents to add on the CD/DVD (Windows, software or both). If you choose a software disk, you must select a folder where the program will create the installation kit. During the next step, the added packages will be displayed in a list and you can choose which ones to include on the CD. If a setup package consists of more than just one EXE file, you can set the program to include that extra content. The option can be found on a separate window, after selecting a package in the list and clicking the edit button.

When creating a Windows disk, you must set up an answer file which will be used to install the operating system. With the aid of radio buttons, you can choose an answer file for Windows XP, Vista or 7. A Settings button, next to the Vista and 7 option, will bring up a window where you can specify your time zone, language, keyboard input, network location and more. This information will be used to automatically fill in the forms when installing Windows. During the same step, you can type in your name, company, computer name and Windows key, which will also be filled in automatically during the installation process. The next step of this wizard involves selecting a folder with the Windows distribution package and starting the burning process. Alternatively, you can create an ISO image and save it anywhere you want.

Bootable USB flash drives can be created with the aid of a different wizard. They can contain a Windows installation kit only or other ones, besides Windows. It is also possible to create a bootable flash drive with Windows PE, which will repair your installation when plugging in the device and restarting the computer. The wizard which helps you do this is similar with the bootable disk wizard, meaning that you must specify a folder with the Windows distribution package, set up an answer file and so on.

Pros

Almeza MultiSet Pro can create bootable disks or USB flash drives with Windows installation kits or other software. When you have to reinstall your operating system, you can automatically configure the Windows setup process and install all the required drivers, codecs and other services.

Cons

Novice users may have difficulties with understanding some of the software's features. Almeza MultiSet Pro's features will help you save valuable time when reinstalling your operating system. You can use it to automatically install Windows and other services.
